Victor Davis Hanson: Ilhan Omar Wants Accountability—Until It Knocks on Her Door

Description

A college professor allegedly poses as a MAGA supporter to threaten and harass a Jewish colleague, raising alarming questions about rising antisemitism on America's elite college campuses. Victor Davis Hanson and Jack Fowler examine these disturbing allegations on today’s edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words,” arguing that antisemitism is becoming increasingly tolerated within progressive institutions. They connect the controversy to broader concerns about DEI policies, the political Left’s response to the October 7 Hamas attacks, and growing hostility toward Israel. Hanson criticizes Hamas and its role in the destruction of Gaza, while warning about the dangerous normalization of antisemitic rhetoric in American politics. They examine allegations surrounding Rep. Ilhan Omar, and accusations of political double standards involving federal investigations. They dive into the ongoing protests in France which seemed to have started over a lack of air conditioning in schools, however, Victor argues these protests are often encouraged by left-wing donors and political organizations, rather than being entirely spontaneous. The episode also turns to Cornell University’s controversial sexual advice amid sexual assault allegations, and the disturbing sexual-health materials being passed out by the university. Who is Guangtian Ha? What happened to Ilhan Omar and why did the Federal government raid her home? All this and more on today’s show.
