Trump’s Economy Is Stronger Than Voters Think | Victor Davis Hanson

Description

The economy is showing signs of strength, but many Americans still aren’t feeling it—and Republicans have only weeks to convince voters that their policies are working. Victor Davis Hanson and Sami Winc break down the economic picture heading into the midterms, including growth, inflation, wages, and why even The Washington Post is acknowledging some of the underlying strengths of Trump’s economy. They also discuss how illegal immigration is affecting American hospitals and emergency rooms, and what Republicans need to do to turn the economy into a winning midterm message. In the Saturday special, Victor looks back at the presidencies of Abraham Lincoln and Franklin D. Roosevelt and the extraordinary crises that defined their time in office.
