Could AI data centres actually lower your power bill?

Description

Ben Hilborn, founder and CEO of Elastic Energy, argues the AI data centre boom could actually lower electricity costs rather than drive them higher. He explains how smarter electricity markets, flexible power demand, and AI itself could reduce power bills and unlock new economic opportunities. It's a counterintuitive conversation about why the future of artificial intelligence depends as much on the electricity grid as the computer chip. This podcast is generously supported by Don Archibald.
