Reinvention, Relationships, Returning to Music & Her New Era

Описание

Today I'm having drinks with singer-songwriter and producer Efe Oraka. This is a deepcut! Because audio listeners are getting more in this episode! This might be our funniest episode yet. Efe and I first met in school, so this conversation felt less like an interview and more like catching up with an old friend. We talk about growing up, changing careers, disappearing for a while, finding yourself again and what it really means to evolve while people are still holding onto an older version of you.We also get into friendships, relationships, making music, stepping away from music, returning with a new sound and why becoming yourself often means letting go of who people expect you to be.In this episode, we cover:• Growing up and changing as a person• Friendships and adulthood• Stepping away from music• Returning with a new sound• Creative reinvention• Relationships and self-discovery• Living in Canada• Building an identity beyond people's expectations• Why your twenties change youPouring today on Let's Have Drinks is "Evil Princess".Pour yourself a drink and join the conversation. The Lagos edition drinks are sponsored by Chowder
