Understanding God's Kingdom Through Abraham | Kingdom Conversations Episode 4

Paglalarawan

The Kingdom is not merely a destination. It begins with a conversation with the King. In Kingdom Conversations Episode 4, Dr. Dana Carson continues unfolding the Kingdom of God through its original Second Temple Jewish context, revealing why Abraham is the model of Kingdom faith and why Melchizedek, the King of Righteousness, is central to understanding the Gospel. Discover how God's covenant with Abraham establishes the foundation for righteousness by faith, why the Kingdom is built on relationship rather than religion, and how every believer is called into an ongoing conversation with God. In this episode you'll learn: • Why Melchizedek is called the King of Righteousness and King of Peace • What it truly means to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness • Why the Kingdom is a conversation between the King and His people • How Abraham became the biblical model of faith and obedience • The significance of God's covenant with Abraham in Genesis 15 • The difference between works and righteousness by faith • How Jesus fulfills the promises made to Abraham • Why understanding God as King changes the way we read Scripture If you've ever wondered what the Kingdom of God really means or how the Old Testament points directly to Jesus Christ, this episode provides biblical insight that challenges traditional interpretations and restores the Kingdom message to its original context. 📚 Featured Resources by Dr. Dana Carson • And This Gospel of the Kingdom • One True King • Kingdom Reformation: Here We Stand • Introducing the Kingdom • The Cross and the Crown • The Five Watersheds of History and Theology • Welcome to the Kingdom 👍 If this episode helped deepen your understanding of the Kingdom, Like, Comment, Subscribe, and Share it with someone hungry for biblical truth.
