Apple's Health Data API for Third-Party Apps

Paglalarawan

Apple's Health app has been around for years, but the real story is the quiet expansion of HealthKit's API, letting third-party apps read and write data more deeply than ever. In this episode, Lucas and Luna dig into how a small fitness startup used the new APIs to build a feature that Apple's own apps don't offer, and what that means for the future of health data on iPhone. They discuss the privacy implications, the 'share your data' permissions flow, and why Apple's approach to health is different from its approach to other categories. If you've ever wondered why your doctor's app can now pull your step count, this one's for you. #Apple #HealthKit #HealthData #iPhone #WatchOS #Privacy #APIs #FitnessTech #HealthTech #Technology #TechPodcast #AppleEcosystem #DataPrivacy #ThirdPartyApps #Developers #HealthApp #FexingoBusiness #BusinessPodcast Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo
