King Sulayman (as) and The Ant That Spoke Up | Khutbah by Sh. Mohammad Elshinawy

الوصف

What can a single ant teach us about how to live? In Surah an-Naml, the Quran captures an exchange between Prophet Sulayman (peace be upon him) and an ant warning its colony of approaching danger, a moment Allah chose to preserve for all generations. Sh. Mohammad Elshinawy shares lessons from the surah on mercy that extends beyond those who look like us, the responsibility to contribute rather than curse the times we live in, and the wisdom of pairing advice with explanation rather than authority. It closes with the ant's most remarkable line and what that teaches us about thinking well of others. Uncover the wisdom of the ants in this khutbah. 00:00 Epic Army of Sulaiman 01:04 Valley of Ants Scene 01:56 Sulaiman Smiles and Prays 02:58 Mercy as Prophetic Trait 04:18 Be the Ant Who Acts 06:24 From Alarmism to Action 08:01 Strategic Advice and Expertise 10:01 Explain Your Rationale 13:27 Assume Good Intentions 16:03 Closing Dua and Takeaways Click SUBSCRIBE and hit the 🔔 icon to receive the latest updates from Yaqeen! #yaqeeninstitute #khutbah #dhulhijjah #lecture Visit http://www.yaqeeninstitute.org for full access to all research publications, infographics, and videos.
