The Navy's Secret Dolphin Soldiers That Nobody Talks About | Jack Murphy

تفصیل

Jack Murphy reveals the bizarre and classified history of the U.S. Navy's dolphin program. For decades, the CIA and Navy trained bottlenose dolphins for mine detection, swimmer defense, and even tagging enemy divers with needles during the Vietnam War and Persian Gulf operations. Murphy explains how the Soviet Union ran its own parallel dolphin program, which Ukraine later inherited after the collapse of the USSR. He breaks down why these marine mammals were uniquely suited for underwater military work and how modern drone boats are now replacing them in naval operations.
