My Best Friend CATFISHED My Wife and DESTROYED Our Marriage | Entitled Family Stories

تفصیل

I thought I had the perfect life with my wife of ten years, but it turns out my "best friend" and a fake phone number were all it took to dismantle my entire world. After his own marriage imploded, my friend went on a bitter crusade, catfishing six of our friends' wives to prove no one can be trusted, and my wife was the only one who failed the test. He spent months feeding her every specific compliment he knew she craved, and while I was sitting on his couch in shock, he showed me the messages of her waiting at a hotel, ready to throw a decade of marriage away for a stranger. The fallout from this r/EntitledPeople level of betrayal has been a total nightmare, especially since my wife is a literal police detective who somehow didn't see she was being played. She tried to claim it was just "harmless fun," but the screenshots told a different story about how she supposedly loved this digital ghost more after ten weeks than she loved me after ten years. I’ve officially filed for divorce and cut contact with the "friend" who decided to blow up my life just to prove a point, but the real heartbreak isn't the marriage ending. It's the potential of losing my fifteen-year-old stepdaughter. The only bit of karma in this mess is that my stepdaughter and her extended family have completely seen through my wife's lies. We had a tearful meeting at a park where she made it clear that I’m her real dad regardless of what her mom did, and we're already back to texting memes and planning our next baking session in her grandma's kitchen. While my wife is busy sending a barrage of ignored texts, I'm focused on moving into my own place where my daughter will always have a room.
