It's Good to be a Wife, Mom, and Home Economist | Titus 2 Biblical Womanhood

If older women obey Titus 2—teaching what is “good”— that means discipling young ladies to love husbands, love children, be self-controlled, pure, kind, submissive, and keepers at home. We live in a popular culture that celebrates and encourages university as the only way for young ladies to pursue education. The fruit of these univeristy systems is counter to what Titus 2 says the older ladies are to teach the younger ladies. Women getting married later and later (or maybe not at all). It becomes harder to be a keeper of the home and home with your children because many are enslaved to student loan debt. And their has been no education on the practicalities of managing the home i.e. the home economy. What if instead we give a positive vision for young ladies to be wives, mothers, and home economists. Teaching them skills in these areas so they can thrive in the domain the God said is GOOD. ________________________ Sadly I have been seeing several videos and posts of people stealing verbatim things I've said, using my personal stories, and even my photos! It's sad that I even have to write this, but it's quite discouraging to spend so much time creating these videos and the time involved putting thoughts into words, only to have Christians steal them verbatim and take full credit for the ideas that Scott and I have put years into making clear and useful. If you like what you hear and want to create something of your own, just credit the source. You lose nothing by giving credit. We love seeing people live out and promote these ideas.
