Is THIS Why You’re Still Single? Let’s Talk About Serving

تفصیل

Serving is keeping you single… or is it? This is a conversation we’ve heard over and over again, especially in Christian spaces. The idea that women who are deeply involved in church somehow end up overlooked, delayed, or left behind. But is that actually the full picture? In this video, we’re getting honest about the narrative, the tension, and what Scripture actually says about serving while single. We talk about the difference between serving the Lord and simply staying busy, the role of the Church, and why singleness is not a setback but an opportunity. More than anything, we unpack how serving shapes your character, your posture, and your readiness for what God has next. If you’ve ever wondered: “Am I still single because I serve so much?” “Should I pull back?” “Is this helping me or hurting me?” This conversation is for you. We also get into: • What biblical service really looks like • What Scripture says about singleness and devotion to God (1 Corinthians 7:32–34) • How transformation and humility prepare you for service (Romans 12:1–6) • The model of Christ and what it teaches us about serving (Philippians 2:1–7) • The connection between service, character, and preparation for marriage • Whether we’ve misunderstood the Proverbs 31 woman • The real, honest tension of serving while single • Setting healthy boundaries in service • Why it matters for both women and men to be actively serving in the Body We also share personal reflections, including what service revealed about character, intention, and readiness for relationship. Our hope is that you walk away with: A clearer understanding of the purpose of serving Encouragement to stay connected and planted A renewed perspective on your season of singleness And a willingness to use this time with intention Serving is not punishment. It’s preparation. It’s formation. It’s obedience. If this conversation resonates with you, let us know in the comments: Have you ever felt like serving was holding you back?
