How to Take the Risk You’ve Been Avoiding

#345: In this solo episode, I’m kicking off a brand new series for the month of May all about betting on yourself—what it actually means, how to do it, and why it’s the foundation of creating your own luck. This episode is also deeply personal. It’s been a full year since the show rebranded to *She’s So Lucky*, and I almost let that anniversary pass without really sitting with it. But when I finally did, it forced me to reflect, not just on how far the show has come, but on how much *I’ve* changed. What I realized is this: everything we talk about here—luck, success, opportunity, being that girl only works if you’re actually willing to bet on yourself first. And not in a surface-level, motivational-quote way. I’m talking about: Making decisions that don’t make sense to other people. Letting go of identities that no longer fit. Taking risks before you feel fully ready. And continuing to show up, even when the outcome isn’t guaranteed This episode is about stepping into the version of yourself who **plays to win**, instead of waiting for permission, validation, or a better hand. This episode is for you if… - You feel like you’ve outgrown a version of your life, career, or identity but don’t fully know what’s next - You’ve been waiting for validation, clarity, or the “perfect moment” to make a move - You’re tired of comparing your path to other people’s timelines or opportunities - You know you’re capable of more, but you’re not fully acting on it yet - You’re navigating a pivot and need permission to trust your own vision. - You want to start taking yourself seriously and making moves accordingly Chapters: Keep in Touch with Les: - Ready to apply what you hear?
