3 Things to Do When You Feel Far From God

تفصیل

When your heart whispers “God feels far…” it’s usually not distance—it’s an invitation. In this episode, Ken and Tabatha get real about the seasons when God feels silent, distant, or hidden. From battling cancer to navigating marriage stress, they share how emotional pain, busyness, and spiritual immaturity can cloud our awareness of Him… but God never moves. We break down a simple framework to help you reconnect: 1. Return — Come back to His presence daily. 2. Repent & Release — Let go of what’s blocking intimacy. 3. Reconnect — Lean on God’s people who can carry you in weak moments. You’ll also hear a practical breakdown of the three layers of God’s presence: ✨ Omnipresent — God everywhere ✨ Indwelling — God within ✨ Manifested — God revealed in power and closeness And we get super practical about hosting His nearness in everyday life—worship in the car, quiet walks without noise, quick prayers before meetings, and learning to tune your spiritual awareness like a piano. If you’ve ever felt spiritually dry, emotionally exhausted, or wondered why your joy feels thin, this conversation is for you. Loneliness can transform into holy solitude when you recognize the Friend who never leaves. In this episode you’ll learn: • How to sense God again when your heart feels numb • Why focus and surrender shape spiritual sensitivity • How to avoid burnout by living from overflow, not empty tanks • What Moses teaches us about hunger for God • How to carry God’s presence into your home, work, and relationships Stay until the end for a faith-building prayer and simple daily rhythms to help you close the gap and experience God more deeply.
