The Roots of the King James Bible

Do you know where your Bible came from? Most people don't. Many people are using the same Bible they started out with as a child, not even thinking about its pedigree. Even those people using a King James Bible just assume that its the right one without knowing where it came from and the history behind it. This book gives you a brief survey of the origin of the King James Bible, and its evolution through various English Bibles. Knowing the background of the King James Bible will give you a new appreciation for what this text actually represents, and will give you insight into why many people consider this version to be the true Word of God.Read more
