MY FIRST ARISTOTLE: Life, thought, and works of the father of Metaphysics

Has philosophy always intrigued and fascinated you, but also intimidated you because of its complex content and the overly abstruse language of philosophers? Or did you study it at school without truly understanding it and perhaps not being inspired by it at all? This book is designed for those approaching philosophy for the first time, who want to understand and appreciate it without too much effort, and in an entertaining way.In this issue, we will introduce Aristotle's thinking in its fundamental contents: metaphysics, logic, physics, politics, psychology, ethics, and poetics. Special attention will be paid to the criticism of ontological dualism and Plato's theory of ideas, as well as to those aspects of Aristotelian philosophy that marked his departure from his teacher's teachings.Read more
