The human being has the need tounderstand and explain the world. Since human groups have replaced the nomadic way of life with a sedentary lifestyle, established in cities, religions have grown in importance as asource of answers to the world around us.The ancient religions were tribal, contained several gods and went through syncretism with the religions of other tribes and states.
