Dead Reckoning

When the world collapses into chaos after a meteorite unleashes a zombie plague, Cole Turner awakens in a hospital with nothing but a fire axe, a mysterious system, and a shattered heart. As he fights to survive, he rescues a young nurse, Chloe Sullivan, and uncovers the brutal truth: the dead aren't the only monsters. When a fellow survivor turns on him, Cole Turner is forced to kill—and confront the terrifying cost of staying alive. In a world without laws, how far will he go to protect himself, and who can he trust when trust itself is a death sentence?
