Broken: Restoration For God's Wounded

Jesus came for the lost, the hurting, the sinner and for those who had been rejected by man. Why is it then that the church is full of wounded people who feel that they have failed God or messed up so badly that there is no return? “Broken” is an inspirational book about how God wants to reach out with arms of grace to the wounded, calling the prodigals home. He also desires to bring full restoration to ministers who have fallen into sin. This book will not only help individuals who have gone through various kinds of failure, but will offer guidance for pastors, church leaders and counselors as they help those who have failed in some area of life, come into a place of hope, thus enabling them to re-engage in the church and dream again. "I was moved by Pastor Farmer's honesty and humility as he shared the story of his calling, his response to that call and what happened when he took his eyes off God and sought his own will. It is difficult to admit our shortcomings, but when we are able to share our weaknesses with others without fear of shame and judgment, God can move within the church to heal and restore the brokenhearted bringing full joy and fellowship." (Robin Hamilton, LCPL) “I have been very encouraged by reading this book and I know it will help strengthen others who may be going through a desert experience.” (Pastor Chris Rouse, Philadelphia Police Chaplain)Read more
