Big Lake Wedding

With only two weeks to go before their wedding, Big Lake Sheriff Jim Weber and his fiancée, Deputy Robyn Fuchette are busy managing all of the last-minute details before the big day while dealing with Robyn’s often-difficult mother, whose demands have already lost them the florist and the limousine. But when compromising photographs of the bride to be begin surfacing, they become the talk of the town. Suddenly Robyn has gone from being a well-respected deputy and member of the community to a pariah, shunned by people she thought were her friends and whispered about over back fences and across tables in Big Lake’s restaurants and coffee shops. While trying to discover the source of the pictures, Weber and his deputies must also deal with a violent husband trying to reclaim his estranged wife, along with their day-to-day duties in a mountain resort community busy with summer visitors. As the investigation into the pictures continues, old animosities and grudges come to the surface, good guys become bad guys, lives are threatened, friendships are destroyed, and a good cop is forced to make a terrible decision that could end a life and his career forever. Will Weber and Robyn make it to their wedding or will things turn deadly before they can walk down the aisle? One reviewer has referred to the Big Lake mystery series as “Mayberry Meets Twin Peaks." It’s a combination of humor and intrigue that launched author Nick Russell’s first Big Lake book into Amazon’s Top 100 Paid Kindle books for over 78 days, and Big Lake Wedding, the fifteenth book in this popular series, is sure to be a hit, too!Read more
