Why Is The Holocaust Still Important with Dr. David Deutsch Dr. David Deutsch is currently the Section Head of Asia and Africa Section, International School for Holocaust Studies (ISHS). He holds a Ph.D. degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Ben Gurion University in Beersheba (Israel) and an MA in European Studies from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem (Israel). For the past 15 years, David has been teaching, lecturing, and guiding students and researchers from varied backgrounds and nationalities at the ISHS. He is the author of several journal articles. His most current work was published in Yad Vashem Studies and is entitled: "Religious and Halakha Observance in View of Deconstructing Processes of the Holocaust".
