Where Play Meets Purpose with CEO & Co-Founder Deena Al-Sammak

Description

What do you rely on when you can’t see the full path ahead? For Deena Al-Sammak, the answer has always been faith. From throwing out business ideas as a kid to building a med-tech startup while still in university, Deena has learned to move forward without having everything figured out. Today, she’s the Co-Founder of Power of Play, a company reimagining how pediatric therapy is measured, turning something clinical into something engaging, meaningful, and built for children. But this conversation isn’t just about innovation. It’s about surrender, trust, and the discipline of taking the next step even when the outcome isn’t clear. It’s about building with purpose, letting go of control, and finding freedom in the unknown. Because sometimes the only thing you need to keep going… is just enough light to take the next step.
