Description
A country sitting on the largest oil reserves on Earth… where finding gasoline has become a daily struggle. This documentary takes us inside a collapsing Venezuela, crushed by shortages, hyperinflation, and roads that are barely passable. Around Lake Maracaibo, the “black gold” that once promised prosperity now poisons the water and the land, forcing locals to fish in oil-polluted waters just to survive. We also meet the people who refuse to give up: a monk risking dangerous journeys to deliver food and medicine, isolated villages turning back to bartering, and families living without basic public services. A powerful, eye-opening journey into a nation where natural wealth has turned into a curse. Director : Antonin MARCEL, Frédéric ELHORGA
