Valiant Thor: The Visitor We Turned Away

Description

In this episode of Fringe Beyond Limits, the hosts explore the enduring story of Valiant Thor — a man-like visitor who allegedly lived in the Pentagon from 1957–1960 to warn humanity about nuclear weapons and offer a path to peace and clean energy. Drawing from Frank E. Stranges’ accounts and the philosophical book Outwitting Tomorrow, the episode examines testimony, motive, and why such an offer might have been rejected. As the hosts reflect on Cold War anxieties, moral responsibility, and the tension between technological power and ethical maturity, they ask whether the story matters for its truth or its warning. Ultimately, the episode challenges listeners to consider whether humanity would accept help that required us to change who we are. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
