Unsolved: Tara Leigh Calico, The Polaroid Mystery

Description

For today's second episode, Sarah Turney and Kourtney Nichole examine the case Tara Leigh Calico, who disappeared on September 20, 1988, after leaving her New Mexico home for a routine bike ride. What followed was a search filled with unsettling possibilities and one of the strangest clues in missing person history: a Polaroid photo discovered months later that some believed showed Tara alive. Decades on, her case remains unresolved, suspended between local suspicion, haunting evidence, and the question of whether truth has been hidden in plain sight. And for more cases just like this one, be sure to check out the Crime House Original, The Final Hours. If you’re new here, don’t forget to follow Crime House 24/7 to never miss a case!
