The Nefarious Acts of K-POP Shorts Channels

Description

"let's poke the sleeping dragon," they said. "it definitely won't write an entire video essay about us." i am unbelievably pissed off. i stayed silent about my dislike of these channels for about a month in the hopes that someone would condemn them in a video...until i realized that i was the one who had to do it. this is likely going to earn me a ton of backlash, but to be honest, it needed to be said. and one more thing! i've blocked out all the names to keep their privacy! if you recognize a video you made, and it's put in a problematic section, please sit in the corner and think about what you did! alright, enough sarcasm and drama, onto the chapters timestamps: 00:00 Introduction 01:00 Explanation & Background Knowledge 02:21 Quality, Originality, & Piracy 04:47 The Squid Game Effect 07:23 The Community Post Society 08:52 Fandom Behavior 10:27 Conclusion 11:19 Outro credits: Bad Boy (Red Velvet): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUwieWcISDU LOCO (ITZY): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BK_WEEyhPu0 Black Mamba (AESPA): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SyHvHIERveI What Is Love (TWICE): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qY22HPfafSQ Kill This Love (BLACKPINK): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkGSf9VeWTE Unnatural (WJSN): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTmc22ZKO_c 'Crush' Short (Planet Minjae): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=osN-J1im2t8 Proofreader: Unnamed friend Moral Support: snickerboodle tags: kpop shorts problematic the problem with kpop youtubers i hate i don't like i dislike unpopular opinion offensive kpop opinions spicy kpop opinions my thoughts on my take on worst fandom ktube ktubers manipulative toxic fake criticism exposing exploiting controversial controversy plagiarism piracy unoriginal negativity harassment kpop youtube video essay rant video chaebin n out kpop commentary BTS BLACKPINK Twice
