The fan who took it too far - Bensoul | It’s Never That Serious Podcast

Description

In this episode of It’s Never That Serious, we sat down with Bensoul a Kenyan singer, songwriter, and producer signed to Sol Generation. We talk about his journey from studying engineering to becoming one of East Africa’s most exciting musical voices. Bensoul shares how he discovered his true calling, his experience as a multi-instrumentalist, and what it takes to thrive in the music industry today. He opens up about his love for Uganda, his wildest fan encounter (yes, the cops were involved), and the highs and lows of fame. We also dive into his last album The Party and The After Party, the story behind a song he dedicated to his girlfriend, and what new music he’s working on. To wrap it all up, Bensoul joins us for Soundtrack of My Life and a fun This or That game where he reveals more about his musical taste and personality.
