The 4+1 Things Every Human Needs (According to Buddhism)

Description

What is the absolute minimum a human being needs, not just to survive, but to flourish? We often argue about "safety nets" as if they are a modern political invention. But 2,500 years ago, the Buddha established a specific list of "Requisites" (Paccaya): the non-negotiable floor required to live a noble life. In this video, we explore why a society that fails to provide this "floor" is, according to the Cakkavatti-Sīhanāda Sutta, a society destined for collapse. 🧡 If you find this material useful, check out my Patreon page and get fun benefits like exclusive videos, audio-only versions, and extensive show notes: https://www.patreon.com/dougsseculardharma 🧡 You can also make donations through: https://paypal.me/dougsdharma 📙 Check out my book, A Handbook of Early Buddhist Wisdom, with a Foreword by Ven.
