“So Used To LYING!” AIPAC vs Thomas Massie + San Diego Mosque Attack With Mehdi Hasan

Description

Thomas Massie’s bruising defeat last night was widely framed as proof that President Trump still has total control of the Republican Party. But critics argue the bigger question is who really has influence over Trump. Pro-Israel donors and lobbying groups reportedly spent more than $15 million to defeat Massie, with millions linked to AIPAC. Massie was never known as a leading critic of Israel. Allies say his real offence was challenging the influence of lobbyists and billionaire donors over Republican leadership and US foreign policy. Now, with Massie sidelined, divisions inside MAGA are deepening. Has Trump tightened his grip on the movement — or has the donor class tightened its grip on Trump? Meanwhile, outrage is growing after three people were killed in a suspected terror attack at San Diego’s largest mosque. The attack has intensified scrutiny of anti-Muslim rhetoric in politics following recent comments from Republican figures and a controversial post from Trump ally Laura Loomer targeting mosque attendees. Critics say the question now is whether inflammatory political rhetoric is beginning to have deadly consequences... Piers Morgan is joined by senior counsel of the Article 3 Project, Will Chamberlain, Host of System Update, Glenn Greenwald, founder of Outkick!, Clay Travis and former Republican strategist and speechwriter, Buckley Carlson to discuss. Piers then speaks to founder of Zeteo, Mehdi Hasan about the mosque attack in San Diego. 00:00 Introduction 03:40 The future of a MAGA government 05:05 Glenn Greenwald on Thomas Massie and Trump’s political fist 07:50 Donald Trump going public on Israel calling the shots 10:22 Piers asks Will Chamberlain about Massie’s criticism of Israel 13:30 Buckley Carlson on Massie taking on Trump 16:30 Clay Travis on Massie’s concession 24:10 The link between the cost of living in America and Israel 28:30 Trump’s war in Iran 34:30 Will predicts what Trump will do in Iran 44:44 Who is the most popular politician in America right now? 45:55 Can Trump extri
