So This Happened (EP 385) reviews: Benin youths protest cost of living, reject palliatives

Description

Hundreds of youths in Benin City, Edo State, staged a protest on April 1, blocking major parts of the Benin-Lagos Expressway as they decried rising fuel prices, transport costs, food inflation, unemployment, and poor electricity supply. The protest gained widespread attention as demonstrators rejected government palliatives, insisting that temporary relief like food distribution does not address deeper economic challenges. The action disrupted movement across key areas and sparked broader conversations about the cost of living crisis in Nigeria. #viralpost #sothishappened #punchnewspapers #BeninProtest #CostOfLiving #EdoState #NigeriaNews ----- What is this channel all about?
