She Was Having an Affair With a Congressman... Then She Vanished

Description

In May 2001, college intern Chandra Levy was preparing to return to her home in Northern California after living in DC for half a year. However, after her parents didn’t hear from her for several days, they reported her missing to the Metropolitan Police. When the police entered Chandra’s apartment, they found notes from the building’s management scattered across the floor and a voicemail full of messages. While most of the messages were from her parents, two were from Congressman Gary Condit, asking when he could see her again. Those messages were placed on May 1st, the last day Chandra was seen alive. What followed was over two decades of political scandal, false confessions, and loose threads that led nowhere. All of this, and the question still remains: what happened to Chandra Levy?ButcherBox: Premium proteins the best way at https://butcherbox.com/milehigher for $20 OFF your first box and ground beef, chicken thighs OR top sirloin for a year!SmileSet: Dental beauty without the hassle https://smileset.com/milehigher when using our special offer, get your new aligner treatment for under $1300!!Zbiotics: Night's out without the bad mornings https://zbiotics.com use code MILEHIGHER for 15% OFF your first order!Dose: Boost your live health with https://www.dosedaily.co/milehigher and get 35% OFF your first subscription!Mint Mobile: Ditch the big wireless companies when you use https://mintmobile.com/milehigher and get a plan as low as $15 a month!Intro 0:00An Early Life Full of Love 3:03The Affair 9:49Mysterious Updates 21:20When it Happened 24:41Searching for Chandra 30:05Evidence Begins to Single out Gary Condit 41:32Finding Chandra 1:04:39Eerie Similarities 1:11:02Enter Ingmar 1:13:43Yet Another Twist... 1:30:00Back to Square One 1:37:02Final Thoughts & Outro 1:46:16Mile Higher Media website: https://milehigher.com/ Higher Hope Foundation: https://www.higherhope.org/ Mile Higher Merch: http://milehighermerch.comCheck out our other podcasts! The Sesh https://bit.ly/3Mtoz4XLights Out https://bit.ly/3n3GaoePlanet
