SAN AgroTalk | Green Claims: Why credible claims give sustainability systems an edge

Description

All organizations, regardless of their size or sector, can effectively adopt credible claims practices. However, there are a myriad of sustainability claims in the market today. The ISEAL Sustainability Claims Good Practice Guide was developed to improve the credibility of claims about sustainability standards systems, leading to greater uptake and trust. In this AgroTalk, Patrick Mallet, ISEAL's Director of Innovations, and Meriam Ghedira, Policy Officer at ISEAL, explain the role of claims in a sustainability system, what makes a claim credible, and what EU policymakers are asking for. › ISEAL Credibility Principles: https://tinyurl.com/5aztbzpy › ISEAL Code of Good Practice for Sustainability Systems: https://tinyurl.com/2ucp8cfm › ISEAL Sustainability Claims Good Practice Guide (May 2015, currently under revision): https://tinyurl.com/mvhcvmux › ISEAL's guidance to companies on making credible landscape action and performance claims: https://tinyurl.com/mrx8y9wh › Impacts claims and communications good practice guide (March 2016): https://tinyurl.com/2rpjr6a4 › Jurisdictional monitoring and claims (2016-2023): https://tinyurl.com/3m6t5kth › ISEAL draft guidance on making credible living wage claims (2023): https://tinyurl.com/nhzst4dp › Enhancing the role of credible sustainability standards within the EU GCD Framework: https://tinyurl.com/2nhpncfe
