To be is the most common verb in the Russian language. Like in many other languages, the Russian verb to be is irregular. So, it has many different forms that you need to know by heart because you’ll see them all the time and you’ll have to use all these different forms all the time when you speak Russian. Luckily for you, there is only one form for the Russian verb to be in the Present tense - есть. So we’re not going to talk about it in this video. Instead, we’ll be learning how to conjugate to be in the Past tense. And there will
