Rauw Alejandro: Countdown To Cosa Nuestra: Capítulo 0 (with Wisin and Ñengo Flow)

Description

“Every time I drop an album I’m like, ‘This is my best album.’ It’s because you keep leveling up,” says Puerto Rican superstar Rauw Alejandro, who returns with Cosa Nuestra Capítulo 0, a bold new record that puts the Caribbean sounds forward. Shot at El Refugio in Río Piedras, Rauw sits down with Puerto Rican legends Wisin and Ñengo Flow to reflect on the making of the album, unpacking its inspiration, his evolution as an artist, and the importance of identity. Breaking down the prequel concept, he explains how Cosa Nuestra centered on the story and sounds inspired by Puerto Rican migration to New York. With Cosa Nuestra Capítulo 0, the focus shifts to a project that pays homage to Caribbean culture at its core, anchored in the Caribbean connection. A conversation between three generations of Latin music, shared between laughs and a game of pool, offers a glimpse into how Rauw Alejandro has matured as an artist and how legends such as Wisin and Ñengo Flow see him as an important force for today’s generation.
