Priest Reacts to Country Singer’s Acceptance Speech (w/ Fr. Mark-Mary Ames)

Description

Country music artist Ella Langley recently made headlines for thanking Jesus during her CMA acceptance speech. But that's not the only reason people are paying attention to her. Fr. Mark-Mary Ames unpacks the deeper themes behind her song, "Speaking Terms". Through its lyrics, he reflects on the wounds, disappointments, and struggles that can distance us from God, but invites us to return to Him with the trust and openness of a child. No matter how broken or far from God you may feel, there is always hope. ❓ Have ideas for future videos ❓ Topics you want to hear about ❓ Questions you want answered ❓ Make sure to put #AskAscension in your comment 👍 — MORE FROM ASCENSION — 🔸Ascension App: https://link.ascension-app.com/lMuydd... 🔸The Great Adventure Bible: https://tinyurl.com/y6lfxzyt 🔸 Catechism of the Catholic Church, Ascension Edition: https://tinyurl.com/25nskztb — SOCIAL MEDIA — 🔸Facebook: / ascensionpress 🔸Twitter: / ascensionpress 🔸LinkedIn: / ascension-press 🔸Instagram: / ascensionpress 🔸Subscribe: @AscensionPresents 12107712936
