Effective prayer is simpler than you think. At 2 yrs old, God showed me that even in our imperfections we can move mountains with faith. When my father left us and refused to pay child support, I went into intercessory prayer. I repeated these imperfect words, "I rebuke Daddy to send the money." Although I should've declared instead of rebuked, I was effective. There was a check in the mail for a few grand weeks later (and they never stopped coming).
