"One Dose, Seven Years Sober" — Navy SEAL Tommy Aceto On Trump's Ibogaine Order

Description

📍Enjoying our show? Subscribe to our channel! Thanks for watching. One dose of ibogaine. Seven years sober. No alcohol. No opioids. No porn. That's what former Navy SEAL medic Tommy Aceto walked out of a Mexican clinic with — and what the federal government is now finally being forced to study. On April 18, 2026, President Trump signed an executive order opening the door to psychedelic therapy for American veterans. The man who's been fighting for that breach for seven years sits down with David today. You'll learn how ibogaine can erase opioid withdrawal in hours, why the vagus nerve is the missing link in PTSD treatment most therapists won't touch, and how Tommy, Marcus Capone, Morgan and Marcus Luttrell, Shawn Ryan, and Bobby Kennedy Jr. quietly built the coalition that just changed federal policy. David and Tommy break down the legislative fights in Tennessee and Kentucky, why Big Pharma is racing to shut this down, and exactly what every veteran, first responder, and family member needs to do this week to push their state to act. Tommy Aceto is a former Navy SEAL medic of 16 years and one of the lead advocates behind the America for Ibogaine state coalition. This conversation breaks down ibogaine therapy for veterans, the Trump psychedelic executive order, the Tennessee Hope Treatment Act, the SEAL community's seven-year fight to open this medicine to American warriors, and the Big Pharma resistance trying to kill it. ✅ Sponsors: ☕️ Black Rifle Coffee: https://www.blackriflecoffee.com/ 🍊 Revival Nutrition: https://revivalnutrition.com/collections/rutherford Use promo code DAVID for 20% off 🏫 Get coaching by David Rutherford: https://www.froglogicinstitute.com/ 📕 Get David's novel, The Poet Warrior: https://www.ballastbooks.com/ballast-bookstore/the-poet-warrior 📰 Sign up for David's newsletter for free coaching tips, updates, and more: https://davidrutherfordletter.substack.com/ 🎧 Listen To The Podcast: ➡️ Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-david-rutherford-show/id180709044
