Mpho Popps Speaks On His Experience With IShowSpeed

Description

The controversy behind IShowSpeed’s South Africa tour is finally revealed. On the PNC Podcast, local crew and fixers break their silence about the alleged disrespect, lack of communication, and logistical chaos during the viral visit. Comedian Mpho Popps details how local teams "moved mountains" to make the tour happen, only to be met with what they describe as rude behavior and a lack of appreciation from Speed’s production team. In this deep dive, PNC members Tsitsi and others critique the team's attitude, citing a lack of "Ubuntu" and respect. They share specific conflicts, from communication breakdowns to incidents with bodyguards, arguing that the pursuit of content overshadowed basic human decorum. Despite the challenges, they commend South Africa’s effort for showcasing the country globally. This situation highlights a critical discussion in influencer culture: the tension between global celebrity visits and the essential local partners who make them possible.
