LTWT 042: Fearless Rest: Breaking Free from Burnout

Description

“Pay attention to yourself; take that personal inventory of yourself. And a question I ask myself is, ‘What makes me optimal? Is what I’m doing going to help me be optimal in my service for God and my service to God’s people?’” In this episode, Jennifer Clesi interviews Rev. and Mrs. Marlo Vergara (Millie), ministers with The Way International. Marlo and Millie impart their knowledge on the topic of fearless rest and overcoming burnout. Though they both maintain busy schedules, they are great examples of restful living. Together, they explain God’s desire for rest in the lives of His people and ways that He has provided for His people to rest despite circumstances. They also delve into practical ways to live restfully, such as spending time in God’s Word and in prayer, prioritizing sleep, staying organized, and much more. If you have been feeling strained, this episode can help you gain understanding of how to better incorporate God’s rest into your life so you can be optimal for Him.
