Description
Lebanon-based journalist Lylla Younes recounts what happened when Israeli soldiers occupied the southern Lebanese village of Ain Arab, telling residents to leave at gunpoint. “They tell people, ‘You have two hours to leave.’ They don’t even give them that.” This story demonstrates “just how much the word ‘ceasefire’ has lost its meaning,” says Younes.
