Description

Xenophobic attacks in South Africa are fueled by a lack of education and a lack of reading. Too many young Africans, especially Gen Z, are drifting away from books, and this ignorance leaves a void. Without knowledge of their own history, people fall prey to fear and hatred. In this video, I emphasize why reading is a lifeline—how it builds empathy, broadens minds, and prevents these kinds of divisions. And I promise, unapologetically, we will keep reminding you, teaching you, and showing you why reading is essential. Stay with us, and let’s change the future. . #southafrica #southafrican #tiktoksouthafrica #gauteng
