Is this the best way to fix "ugly" RAM?

I've painted a bunch of different PC parts before, but this is the first time I'm trying vinyl! Which seems backwards because vinyl is wayyy safer and reversible 😂 I was also expecting it to negatively affect thermals, but tbh when I switched between the wrapped and unwrapped RAM, the only difference was that no matter what, the stick in A2 was always 0.5C hotter...
