I'm Back But I'm Still Sad...Let's Talk About It

About a month ago I lost my best friend. My dog, Riley, AKA Sugar Bear, suddenly passed away after he was acting strange and upon taking him to an emergency vet we discovered he had lots of fluid around his heart. They said they could operate but he was a senior dog and even then this condition meant he only had weeks if not a month left. The best decision to avoid suffering was to let him go. I sat for hours in that ER room - feeding him chocolate kisses and petting him. Of all the car rides we went on - I always brought Riley home safe and to have to leave him behind that day ruined me. didn’t know what to do after that night - losing my best friend so unexpectedly. He was such a big part of my life and a positive moment of every day. The type of love that you are never prepared to lose. He lived a good long life and was loved by many - like all of you! I wanted to hide from the world while I grieved his loss so I took a month off posting on YouTube. I did not want to return, however, without a video acknowledging and talking about what happened so this is what that is. I do want to return to regular, funny content and even make a tribute video dedicated to everything I loved about Riley but there is no timeline for that because you can tell by the tears I am still so deeply saddened but his loss.
