I HEAR VOICES | 4. ALLOWED, BUT NOT ALIGNED

Description

Could something appear successful… and still not be from God? Through the story of Israel asking for a king in 1 Samuel 8, we uncover how easy it is to mistake progress for alignment, success for approval, and open doors for God’s direction. What looked like a strategic and reasonable decision eventually led the nation into spiritual drift and destruction. This message reminds us that: ⚠️ Permission is not always approval ⚠️ Early success is a terrible measure of long-term alignment ⚠️ God’s mercy can cover us even while we are drifting And yet, in the middle of our mistakes, God remains gracious. His mercy does not exist to make us comfortable in misalignment — it exists to lead us back into repentance, realignment, and dependence on Him. If you’ve ever wondered whether you’re truly following God’s voice or simply following what feels right, this message is for you. 📖 Scripture Reference: 1 Samuel 8:4–9 🎙️ Series: I Hear Voices – Finding God’s Voice in a Noisy World Remember: "God’s mercy is greater than your mistakes. #IHearVoices
