I HEAR VOICES | 3. BIG DECISIONS, LONG RUNWAYS

Description

BIG DECISIONS, LONG RUNWAYS | I Hear Voices Series How do you know when urgency is from God… and when it’s just pressure? In this powerful message from Pastor Kuria, we explore the story of King Saul in 1 Samuel 13 and uncover the danger of rushed decisions, emotional reactions, and spiritually disguising impatience as wisdom. Saul was under pressure. The enemy was advancing. Fear was rising. And instead of waiting on God, he forced an outcome — a decision that cost him deeply. Through this teaching, we learn why discernment matters, why waiting is not weakness, and why some decisions require longer runways. 🔑 In this message you will learn: • Why impatience often reveals fear and self-reliance • The difference between urgency and God’s leading • Why “open doors” are not always confirmation • How David modelled dependence by continually inquiring of the Lord • Why major life decisions need prayer, wisdom, counsel, and patience This message will challenge you to slow down, seek God clearly, and stop making life-altering decisions impulsively. 📖 Key Scripture: 1 Samuel 13:5–14 Isaiah 40:31 💬 “Big decisions require long runways.” 💬 “I will not move until I inquire.” 💬 “Waiting is not wasting time. Waiting is trust.” If you’re navigating major decisions around relationships, career, business, ministry, finances, or purpose, this message is for you. #IHearVoices #MavunoChurch
