Description

In this episode of Women Unlimited, we sit down with Nkemdilim Uwaje Begho, founder & CEO of Future Software Resources Ltd. (Futuresoft) one of Nigeria’s leading digital & technology-solutions firms. Nkemdilim has also built an impressive governance profile: she serves on the boards of Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC, Novare Investment Fund Ltd., Lagos State Research & Innovation Council (LASRIC), The Society for Corporate Governance in Nigeria (SCGN), and holds advisory roles with BudgIT Foundation and Global Leaders Today USA. ➡️ In our conversation we cover: • How to position yourself for board roles including if you don’t yet have board experience. • The biggest misconceptions about what “qualified” really means when a board is looking at you. • What boards actually value in female leaders (hint: it’s not just credential check-boxes). • How to build your leadership narrative, credibility and network so the right board roles come to you. • Strategic tactics for women leaders who are done waiting and ready to be appointed.
