How They Built a 250M+ Views Gen Z Media Empire | Neptune3

Description

Today on Crea8torium, we sit down with two-thirds of the creative force behind Neptune3 Studios — Jesi and Jemima Damina. Neptune3 is the production universe behind Best Friends in the World, a coming-of-age web series that has pulled tens of millions of views and built one of the most devoted fanbases in African digital content. They started with a shoestring budget, armed mostly with grit, passion, and purpose. In this episode, we get into what it actually takes to build a storytelling empire from scratch, DIY creativity, and how they've stayed true to their voice as the stakes have grown.CHAPTERS00:00:00 Introduction00:01:46 How It Started00:07:24 Starting YouTube00:09:39 Trial & Error 00:13:02 Choosing Stories 00:18:47 Theme Communication 00:20:58 Handling Demand 00:23:47 What People Want 00:27:05 Being Self Taught 00:29:04 Collaboration 00:39:42 Creative Process 00:45:57 Passion00:48:27 Systems 00:51:29 Multiple Passions00:54:30 Film vs Content 01:03:33 Music in Film 01:06:29 Virality 01:17:42 Inner Critic 01:21:18 Leading Others01:25:35 High Standards01:28:45 Risky Decisions 01:30:21 Preparedness 01:34:14 YouTube Advice CONNECT WITH NEPTUNE3YouTube: https://tinyurl.com/423txc7xInstagram: https://tinyurl.com/54ej22ksCREA8TORIUM CIRCLE: If this content sparked something in you, Crea8torium Circle is where you build on it.
