How I Got Scammed in Ibiza, Etania Opens Up About Touring, DJ Life & Mental Health

Description

Ugandan DJ and media personality Etania joins me for a fun, honest and chaotic episode. From starting her DJ journey during lockdown to becoming one of the biggest female DJs in Uganda, Etania has had a wild ride. Inspired by South African DJ Uncle Waffles, she has toured East Africa and Europe, played dream stages and learned some tough lessons along the way including getting scammed in Ibiza. In this episode, we talk about life on tour, her favourite cities, mental health, the pressure of being a woman in the industry, and the early days when male DJs didn’t take female DJs seriously. We also play a few games so you get to know her a little better. Enjoy!
