In this video, I’m sharing the real story behind my move to Lagos - how I met my partner, why I chose Nigeria, what I expected before coming, and what the reality has actually been like living here. As someone who had never been to Africa before, I realised how much of what I believed came from incomplete or biased narratives. This video breaks down common stereotypes about Nigeria and Africa, and compares them to my lived experience on the ground. If you’ve ever wondered: – Is Nigeria safe? – What is life in Lagos actually like? – What do foreigners get wrong about Africa? My content is for you!
