Description
I've been back and forth going to Finland for years but this time was different because it was my first time bringing along my family with me. It was sort of like flying there to heal my inner child and spend time with the people who shaped me into who I am today. Finland has always felt like a quiet escape for me. Somewhere I go to reflect, reset, and reconnect with myself. But experiencing it this time, not alone, but with my family, made everything feel more meaningful. It wasn’t just about chasing the Northern Lights or exploring winter landscapes anymore… it became about sharing those moments, seeing it through their eyes, and creating memories together. There’s something special about returning to a place that once held so much solitude, and filling it with warmth, laughter, and presence. In a way, it felt like healing parts of me I didn’t even realize needed it. This trip reminded me that sometimes, growth comes full circle, not by moving forward alone, but by bringing your loved ones along with you.
