Going to the School of hard knocks with Chance Mutuku Founder / Creative Director Bbbblanc* Studio

Description

What happens when the future you imagined for yourself suddenly disappears? For Chance Mutuku, life has always required reinvention. Born in the middle of war, raised by a hardworking mother after losing his father young, and driven by a relentless curiosity that carried him from national-level wrestling to the world of design and storytelling. Chance has spent his life learning how to rebuild through creativity, discipline, and faith. Today, as the Founder and Creative Director of BBBBLANC Studio*, Chance helps purpose-driven brands and organizations turn ideas into meaningful digital and physical experiences. But behind the work is a deeper belief: that creativity is more than aesthetics—it’s service, impact, and responsibility. In this episode, we talk about identity, resilience, faith, and the moments that force you to reimagine who you are. From wrestling for Canada to collaborating on projects with Adidas, Chance shares how every chapter of his life prepared him to bridge the worlds of business, art, and purpose. Because sometimes the greatest creativity comes not from having a perfect path… but from learning how to create one.
